We create delicious chocolates that celebrate
the best botanic flavours we can grow and forage.
We sow the seeds and tend the plants until harvest.We then take our precious crops and use traditional techniques to extract and preserve as much flavour as possible to put into our chocolates.
Carefully selected, Single Origin chocolates are matched to our flavours and each little chocolate square is hand cut, hand dipped and sometimes decorated with our own dried edible flowers.
To expand our range we also forage locally for tasty berries and nuts.
In 2015 our Lemon Verbena Botanic Chocolate won a Great Taste Award Gold Star and was judged as ‘utterly delicious’ with “a very fresh and clean lemon verbena flavour.”
We are pleased to say that in the 2016 Great Taste Awards from the Guild of Fine Food we received a Gold 2 -Star for our Elderberry & Vodka Botanic Chocolate. Judges comments were “A very pretty, well made square with sprinkles of petals.” ” the tiny little elderberry is fruity and tart, the ganache is smooth and rich.”
Our Rose Geranium & Gin Botanic Chocolate also rec’d a Gold Star – “the whole chocolate is a mouthful of summer, accomplished and delicious” Like the natural flavour we infuse in our Lemon Verbena chocolate, the judges thought “The Rose Geranium is so pure and wonderfully clean tasting.”
